DIY INSTALL

Installation Guide

No drilling required. Most installs take 20–30 minutes with no tools.

What You’ll Need

The cover comes with everything required for installation. No drilling, no cutting, no special tools needed.

✓ Your truck bed cover (in box)✓ Included clamp hardware✓ 10mm wrench or socket (optional)✓ A second pair of hands (recommended)

Step-by-Step Installation

1

Unbox and Inspect

Remove the cover from the packaging and lay it flat. Check all panels and hardware for any shipping damage. Contact us immediately if anything looks wrong.

2

Clean Your Bed Rails

Wipe down the top surface of both bed rails with a clean cloth. Remove any dirt, wax, or debris. A clean surface ensures the clamps grip properly and the EPDM seal seats flush.

3

Position the Cover

With a helper, lift the cover and place it on the bed rails. Align the front edge flush with the back of the cab. The EPDM gasket should sit evenly on the rail surface on all four sides.

4

Attach the Clamps

Slide the included clamps under the bed rail at the pre-marked positions (typically 2 per side, 4 total). Hand-tighten the bolts first to position, then use a 10mm wrench to snug them down. Do not overtighten — firm is enough.

5

Test the Latch

Open and close the cover several times to confirm the latch engages cleanly. The integrated lock should click firmly into place. Test the key to confirm it locks and unlocks smoothly.

6

Final Check

Run your hand along all four edges to confirm the gasket is seated evenly. Check that all clamp bolts are snug. Your cover is now installed and ready to use.

Tips & Common Questions

Do I need to drill any holes?

No. Our clamp system attaches to the underside of your bed rail and requires zero drilling into your truck.

Can I remove the cover easily?

Yes. Loosen the four clamp bolts and lift the cover off. The whole process takes under 5 minutes. It’s fully removable with no permanent modifications.

What if the clamps don’t reach my rail?

Contact us with your truck’s year, make, model, and bed length. We carry extended clamp hardware for certain rail profiles and will ship it at no charge.

The latch feels stiff — is that normal?

Brand new latches can feel firm for the first few open/close cycles. If it doesn’t loosen up after 10 uses, contact us and we’ll send a replacement latch assembly.
