We took the opposite position. Aerospace-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, a keyed cylinder lock, and an EPDM gasket on all four edges. It costs more once so it does not cost you again.
Everything clamps to the factory bed rails, so nothing we sell puts a hole in your truck. If you sell the truck, the cover comes off in five minutes and goes on the next one.
If a cover fails structurally under normal use, we replace it. No registration, no receipt hunting, no argument.
