How to measure your bed
Manufacturer bed names round the real number. A 5 ft 7 in bed is rarely exactly that. Measure it yourself and you will not be guessing.

Open it fully so nothing blocks the tape at the back of the bed.

Run the tape along the bed floor from the bulkhead to the tailgate hinge line.

Ram 1500 cover questions
Which bed lengths does the Ram 1500 come in?
The Ram 1500 is offered with 5 ft 7 in and 6 ft 4 in beds across the 2009 to 2026 model years. Each of our covers is cut to a specific bed length, so measure from the bulkhead to the inside of the closed tailgate before you order.
Do I need to drill my 1500 to fit a cover?
No. Every cover clamps to the factory bed rails and comes off again without leaving a mark. Most 1500 owners finish the install in 20 to 30 minutes with a 10 mm wrench.
Will a cover work with a bed liner on my 1500?
Spray-in liners are no problem. A drop-in liner with a thick rail lip can change the clamping surface, so tell us which liner you have and we will send the correct clamp kit at no extra cost.
How waterproof is it, really?
The four-sided EPDM rubber gasket forms a sealed perimeter rather than the weathered overlap most covers use. We have tested it through heavy rain, snow and automatic car washes. Your cargo stays dry.
What exactly does the lifetime warranty cover?
Every structural component: the aluminum panels, hinges, frame and latches, for the life of the product under normal use. Seals and wear items are covered for three years. No registration is required.
Can I stand on it or carry heavy loads on top?
Yes. The one-piece covers are rated to 1,600 lb evenly distributed, so rooftop tents, cargo boxes and kayaks are all fine. Avoid point loads such as a car jack.
