Do I need tools or professional installation?
No professional needed. The clamp-on system attaches to your bed rails with no drilling. Most customers finish in 20 to 30 minutes using only a 10 mm wrench.
How waterproof is it, really?
The four-sided EPDM rubber gasket forms a sealed perimeter rather than the weathered overlap most covers use. We have tested it through heavy rain, snow and automatic car washes. Your cargo stays dry.
What exactly does the lifetime warranty cover?
Every structural component: the aluminum panels, hinges, frame and latches, for the life of the product under normal use. Seals and wear items are covered for three years. No registration is required.
Can I stand on it or carry heavy loads on top?
Yes. The one-piece covers are rated to 1,600 lb evenly distributed, so rooftop tents, cargo boxes and kayaks are all fine. Avoid point loads such as a car jack.
